American Cuties Pageant System®!
Being involved in pageantry has been very rewarding for me,
as I hope it is for all of you. I have made many lasting friendships – and
that is what pageants are all about. I want everyone to enjoy
meeting the other contestants and their families, and to leave our pageants
having had a positive experience. We
believe that all of our contestants are winners, and that is
why every contestant receives a crown! Your contestant
welcome packet, with pageant time-line and information, will arrive
approximately one week before the pageant date. If you have any

* * * NATURAL CONTESTANTS * * * Light
makeup only (contestants should look their age). No
retouched photos or false hair/eyelashes/teeth, etc… Think “Miss
America”. Natural contestants may only compete in Natural
events! We will allow hands on hips and knee pops – but no Pro-Am
moves may be used in Natural events!
* * * GLITZ CONTESTANTS * * * Full hair
and makeup, enhanced photos, false hair/eyelashes/teeth, etc… are allowed. We
recommend glitz and/or Pro-Am attire/photos for these events. Glitz
contestants may only compete in Glitz/Pro-Am events! Please keep in
mind that staging (if available) may not be designed for gymnastic moves/jumps,
and while they are allowed in Glitz/Pro-Am events, please take this into
consideration when developing routines.
* GRAND SUPREMES: The
contestant with the highest combined score from ALL events will be crowned
Grand Supreme. We will award one (1) Natural and one (1) Glitz Grand
Supreme. The Grand Supreme will not be given the Beauty title in
their age division – we do not double crown!!
* MINI SUPREMES: The
contestant with the highest combined score from ALL events, after Grand
Supreme, will be crowned Mini Supreme. We will award three (3)
Natural and three (3) Glitz Mini Supremes – 1 from Boys, 1 from 0-6 Girls, 1
from 7+ Girls. Mini Supremes will not be given the Beauty title in
their age division – we do not double crown!!
* Beauty: Each age division
will have one (1) Natural and one (1) Glitz Beauty winner. This is
the contestant with the highest score from Beauty only. Girls
twelve (12) years and under may wear short or long dresses; girls thirteen (13)
years and older should wear long gowns. Boys may wear suits,
tuxedos, etc… Contestants will be judged on: fit/appropriateness of
attire, eye contact, and personality/presentation. Modeling will be
“Miss America” style in a T-formation.
* Photogenic: (optional) There will be one (1) Natural and one (1)
Glitz
Photogenic winner from each age division. Please bring all photos to
registration – do not mail! Photos may be color or B/W – no larger
than 10”x13”. No frames, please. We will allow photo
protectors. Please label the back of your photo with the
contestant’s first name only, and age division. Photos will be
returned during the Crowning Ceremony. Judging will be based on
clarity, personality, and overall appeal.
* Beach Wear: (optional) Anything "beachy"/summer – be
creative! (Swimsuits must be one-piece for girls, all ages, and cover necessary parts of the contestant's body!) There
will be one (1)
Natural and one (1) Glitz Beach Wear winner from each age
division. There is a 2-minute time limit on all routines.
AD SALES / PROGRAM BOOKS
All contestants are required to sell at least one (1) ad
page – mandatory! (This is so that everyone has a “good luck”
page in our program books!) This is also a great way to win some
wonderful prizes and help pay for your entry fees! You may have a
single sponsor for a full page, or you may mix and match several sponsors on a
page. All ads must be type-set and ready to copy. All ad
sales are due by July 6, 2013 – no
exceptions! Get busy and let your sponsors pay your pageant
fees!
While every effort is made to ensure that your ads appear
in the program book as you requested, we cannot be responsible for
errors/omissions to your page(s). You will receive full credit for your
ad(s) in the event of an error/omission, but we do not give refunds. Also, please do not send in "original" photos...please
make sure that you send in a copy or extra, in case anything happens in the mail or printing stages.
Remember to send in a wallet-size photo with your entry,
for the program books – deadline: July 6, 2013! Remember
– all ad sales help pay for the production of the pageant, judges, awards,
ballroom rental, program books, etc… Selling ads has nothing to do with how
your child places in the pageant.
* * * The contestant selling the highest dollar
amount of ads in the program book (over 10 pages) will be
crowned our 2013 TX Summer Fun Ad Sales Queen/King, and will
receive a 5-foot trophy, crown, custom sash, and more!

Rules / Notes
from Royal American Cuties Pageant System ®
* We
pride ourselves on running a fair and honest pageant system. Our
goal is for everyone to have fun, make friends, and to always feel like a
winner! If you enjoy our pageants – please tell
others! If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the
director personally… as you know, second-hand information is often wrong.
* Poor
sportsmanship will NOT be tolerated! Poor sportsmanship, whether by
the contestant, parent/guardian, or invited guest(s), will result in the
disqualification of the contestant (with NO refund!). We want
everyone to have a positive experience at our pageants. The director
has the right to refuse entries, or disqualify contestants, based on past or
present sportsmanship.
* Entry fees
must be paid by MONEY ORDER (when mailed in) – and CASH ONLY, the day of the
pageant. NO EXCEPTIONS!
* Deposits
are non-refundable. However, if you send in your deposit and then
become unable to attend the pageant, we will give you a credit to the next
pageant. If the pageant is cancelled or rescheduled by the director,
a refund check for the amount you sent in will be mailed to you within one week
of the cancellation notice.
* We
encourage all of our Royalty to help out at future pageants, participate in
Royalty activities throughout their reign, and to make appearances with their
title(s). Reigning royalty should return the following year the
crown their successors.
* I
have read all of the information and, by signing, I agree to all of the Rules
& Regulations. I also agree to allow my child (or myself, if
contestant is over 18 years of age) to have his/her/my name and/or picture used
for promotional use (on the website, paperwork, advertisements, etc…) for the
duration of his/her/my reign. I agree to hold harmless, release and
indemnify, Janine Firment, Royal American Cuties Pageant System ®, Crowned
Cuties Mail-In Pageant ®, the pageant location, and anyone associated with the
pageant. I release the above from any and all claims for damages,
injury, and any loss in relation to this event.
